Maseala Progressive Independent School

About Us

Guiding every student with expertise and care.

Our Legacy

Maseala Progressive Schools was founded in 2000 by Mr. Mashilo Alpheus Mohlahlana and Mrs. Molatelo Gladys Mohlahlana, rooted in a rich family heritage and unwavering faith. The name “Maseala” originates from a cherished family poem celebrating the birth of a baby boy called “Seala” – whose name carries the meaning of an ornament worn by those born into royalty. Maseala therefore means Mother of Seala. This symbolism reflects our belief that every child is born with royal potential.

Our foundation rests on three biblical pillars:

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13

“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion.” – Philippians 1:6

“Let the little children come to me, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” – Matthew 19:14
